Since I was 8 years old, I fell in love with stories, more specifically horror stories. As I matriculated through academia, I fell in love with all types of literature. Then, I taught 7th and 8th grade English and learned the power of writing. Writing is a reflection of knowledge. It allows one to not only demonstrate expertise, but it also allows one to demonstrate skill. If a child could write, and write well, then a child would be deemed literate. I’m not only interested in teaching children how to write.
